Last year saw the release of KidPoker, a documentary presented by PokerStars Original Films detailing the life and career of Daniel Negreanu, a PokerStars Team Pro widely regarded as the face of poker today.

That documentary has been released on Netflix as of June 1, making it available to audiences in Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, the U.S., and the U.K. that can now view the film via the ubiquitous streaming service.
The independent poker ranking service Global Poker Index recognized Negreanu as the best poker player of the decade in 2014. 4 As of 2019, he is the third biggest live tournament poker winner of all time (behind only Justin Bonomo and Bryn Kenney, both of whom have won a special multi-million dollar charity tournament), having accumulated. The most popular type of poker is Texas Hold 'Em, which you'll find plenty of here. However, you can also try out common variations like Straight or Stud Poker. Alternatively, Five Dice puts the rules of poker. This isn’t the first time ‘Kid Poker’ has done this though. Negreanu has run live poker lessons for his poker fans for years, dating all the way back to “FCP Weekend”, where a dozen players came to Las Vegas for the weekend to learn from one of the game’s best.

'KidPoker takes viewers on a revealing personal journey, beginning with Negreanu's childhood in Canada, through his pool-hustling days in Toronto, and then his emergence in the high stakes poker scene in Las Vegas when he became, at 23, the youngest player to win a World Series of Poker Series bracelet,' PokerStars said in a press release.
Negreanu, of course, has put together one of the most stories careers in poker history, riding a record $32.4 million in live cashes to a place in the Poker Hall of Fame. The film explores his rise through the poker world and wildly successful career through the lens of interviews with friends, family, and Kid Poker himself.
Kid Poker Net Worth
Early reviews of KidPoker have been mostly positive, as it has a score of 8.4/10 on popular movie website IMDB at the time of this writing.
'I can definitely say it's worth watching,' wrote PokerNews contributor Marty Derbyshire, who has known his fellow Canadian Negreanu for years, in an edition of Five Thoughts. 'Negreanu's story is inspirational, emotionally charged, and entertaining. The family angle, explored through a great interview with Negreanu's older brother Mike, old photos, and videos, is pure magic, and really gives viewers a true insight into where poker's greatest ambassador gets his passion for the game, and life.'
The six-time bracelet winner isn't the only famed poker player in the film either. Vanessa Selbst, Phil Ivey, and Antonio Esfandiari also make appearances.

To be the best, you have to learn from the best and this weekend, six poker players got the opportunity to do just that. Daniel Negreanu opened his home to six players who won private poker lessons, through an auction at last year’s St. Jude Charity Poker Event. As a five-time WSOP bracelet winner, two-time WPT champion and poker’s all-time money leader, you’d be hard pressed to find a better coach than Negreanu.
This isn’t the first time ‘Kid Poker’ has done this though. Negreanu has run live poker lessons for his poker fans for years, dating all the way back to “FCP Weekend”, where a dozen players came to Las Vegas for the weekend to learn from one of the game’s best. Negreanu makes a point of giving those that have donated to charity his absolute best and this time was no different.

“The atmosphere was good.” Negreanu said when we caught up to him after Friday night’s session, adding, “The players were mostly at the beginner level, so I tailored my coaching specifically to help them where they were at. I want them to leave with at least a few tools and tricks that they can put into place and that will immediately help them.”

Those players didn’t just get to learn a few “tools and tricks”, they also got to play against Negreanu. That may be a nightmare for most players, see his resume above, but a dream come true for these charity winners.
As a co-chair of the St. Jude’s event, which is held every November in Las Vegas, Negreanu’s next private poker lesson is just a donation away.
